Selamat datang ke Kuang Si Falls, Luang Prabang.
Mood aku dah bersimpang siur lepas kata kata jahanam mamat bernama Kiki Al Fuki tu !
Kurang ajar betul. Baru kenal aku sekejap tadi dah bermulut puaka.
Panduan arah
Tat Kuang Si Bear Rescue Centre, (inside Kuang Si Waterfall park). Run by Free the Bears, an organisation that rescues endangered Asiatic black bears from poachers and bear bile farms. The sanctuary does not receive any money from the waterfall park admission and relies on donations, so support them by buying T-shirts and other merchandise from their shop.
Feeding time is around noon
Feeding time is around noon
Kuang Si Falls.
Di buka jam 08:00-17:30.
A large multi-stage waterfall, accessible by boat or truck hire, some 29 km south of Luang Prabang. You can rent a motorbike to transport yourself there. Parking your bike at the entrance costs 2000 kip. There are food and tourist stalls outside the waterfalls. It is worth putting a whole day or more aside for seeing this because it is a great place to relax and meet others. There are multiple pools at different levels, all of which are reportedly safe to bathe in, and are extremely picturesque. Shared tuk-tuks to go there charge about 30 to 50,000 kip. The cheapest seems to be near slow boat pier, though you can get them for 40,000 kip near JoMa Bakery. You may have to wait until the tuk-tuk fills up. Tuk-tuks are legally only allowed to take six people, and there is a checkpoint at the falls, so some drivers may try to get a 7th person in the front seat. A private tuk-tuk will cost you around 150,000 kip after some haggling.
Drivers will try to show you some documents that quote 200,000 kip or more. Ignore it and insist on your price. Try and go with 5 people and insist on 30,000 kip each. Drivers should wait for 3-4 hours for you at the waterfall gate area. Make sure your 150,000 kip includes transport there and back. Bargain, bargain, bargain. Just remember that there are dozens of tuk-tuks around, so you have the advantage. If on your own, propose 30,000 kip, and if you have the patience wait until he finds more people. A seat in a mini bus costs 40,000 kip, more if booked through travel agent. Be careful of leeches in the water, especially if you climb to the top of the top of the falls. There is a lot of leeches in the water. Admission, 20,000 kip
Kuang Si (Xi) Waterfall is the biggest in the Luang Prabang area with three tiers leading to a 50-metre drop into spectacular azure pools before flowing downstream. The pools also make great swimming holes and are very popular with both tourists and locals. You can change clothes for swimming at the wooden huts located close to the entrance.
The pools also have cascades of up to five metres high with deliciously cold water due to the shade given by the surrounding lush tropical jungle, if you don’t fancy a swim then you can relax in the shade and watch others having fun jumping in and out of the water.
There are trails allowing you to climb up to the top where you can see the stream feeding into the falls and enjoy some more natural pools. Remember to bring the correct footwear as the trails can get slippery and are certainly not recommended for children or the frail.
Hahahaha
Kuang Si Butterfly Park, (300 m before Kuang Si Waterfalls), Open : 10:00am -17:00pm.
Total of 2,800 m² of landscaped gardens, orchids, 900 m² of netted butterfly garden, free natural fish spa (those little nibbling fish that feed on your skin), European bakery, good coffee/tea. Best visit on sunny days. 30,000 kip
Aku tak berlama lama kat atas waterfall tu. Nampak orang pun tak putus putus datang, so abis ambik gambar aku pun turun semula ke kawasan parking.
Aku sampai dulu. Yang lain lain tu lambat. Juan tu siap mandi lagi kat belah atas.
On the way balik tu aku dah tak borak mana dah. Malas nak layan. Plus aku mengantuk. Lagi kalau aku tengok muka mamat Kiki tu aku rasa nak kekah dia sampai putus leher.
So baik aku layan perasaan sendiri jer.
Kiki?
Aku suruh dia pegi jahanam ! Hahaha.
Dia still macam biasa, ajak borak borak jugak. Dia tunjukkan aku tempat orang tenun kain dari benang sutera yang dia dah pegi. Beriya dia suruh aku pegi jugak kalau ada masa. Aku mengiyakan je.
Apa apa pun Kuang Si Falls ni memang kena pegi. Wajib ! Terbaik.
Hari dah hampir petang. Plan aku petang ni nak ronda ronda lagi kawasan Luang Prabang ni yang aku belum jejak lagi pagi tadi then nak layan senja pastu nak gi pasar malam !
Tak kusangka dirimu berdusta
Menduakan cintaku selama ini
Saat diriku jauh darimu
Kau bermain cinta dibelakangku
Tak sadarkah dirimu sayang
Kau telah melukai hatiku
Saat kulihat dengan mataku
Kau bercumbu mesra bersamanya
Sayang terima kasih tuk semua
Selama ini kau telah menyakitiku
Ku terima semua keputusanmu
Di dalam hidupku
Sayang jaga jiwa dan ragamu
Walau dirimu tak lagi bersamaku
Cukup aku yang kamu sakiti
Di dalam hidupmu
Di buka jam 08:00-17:30.

The locals charge a nominal admission fee to visit the site, but it is well maintained with walkways and bridges to guide the visitor. Most of the pools are open to swimming (although at least one is closed as being a sacred site).
