KEMBARA BALKAN - MONTENEGRO | 06 KOTOR : Semalam Di Kotor

Aku tinggalkan bandar Budva menjelang remang senja kian menghilang.

Bye bye Budva

Aku sendiri tak sure lagi tapi tengok lah cemana keadaannya esok hari.

Dapat tiket aku jalan kaki menuju ke Old City Kotor. Aku dah book penginapan di Kotor untuk malam ni masa kat Hard Rock Podgorica tadi. Memang susah nak dapat yang murah last minit macam ni. Belasah je lah. Janji aku tak jauh dari station bas dan sempat nak explore Old City Kotor esok pagi !

Tak jauh pun jalan kaki, aku sampai di area Old City Kotor

Old City of Kotor...

Located along one of the world’s most beautiful bays is Kotor, a city of traders and famous sailors, with many stories to tell.

Kotor is situated on the southeastern part of Boka bay, on a foothill of the mountain Lovcen. The area of community of Kotor is 355 km2. Kotor is cultural, educational, economical an sport center of this area.

As the only fiord on the Mediterranean, Boka Kotorska was added to the list of twenty five the most beautiful bays in the world in July 2000, the others being mainly in Scandinavia. Kotor is situated on the southeast end of Boka Kotorska. The history of Kotor can be traced to the most ancient times. In the surrounding caves there have been found various tools and ceramics witnessing humane existence from the Neolithic period, as well as drawings on the walls of the cave at Lipci near Risan.

For its unique mixture of different cultures, Kotor entered the list of the world cultural heritage under the protection of the UNESCO. In the past, the most developed industry in this area was trade and maritime affairs. Seafarers used to bring different products from overseas which they would exchange for the goods they were in need of. In that way Kotor became one of the most important trading centres in this part of the Adriatic coast.

The Old City of Kotor is a well preserved urbanization typical of the middle Ages, built between the 12th and 14th century. Medieval architecture and numerous monuments of cultural heritage have made Kotor land on the UNESCO’s World Natural and Historical Heritage Site list.

Through the entire city the buildings are intersected by narrow streets and squares. Cathedral of Saint Tryphon (Sveti Tripun) is at the center of one of these squares, and it’s a monument of Roman culture and one of the most recognizable symbols of the city.

The Church of Saint Luke (Sveti Luka) from the 13th century, Church of Saint Ana (Sveta Ana) from the 12th century, Church of Saint Mary (Sveta Marija) from the 13th century, Church of the Healing Mother of God (Gospe od Zdravlja) from the 15th century, the Prince’s Palace from the 17th century and the Napoleon’s Theatre from the 19th century are all treasures that are part of the rich heritage of Kotor. Carnivals and festivals are organized each year to give additional charm to this most beautiful city of the Montenegrin littoral.

Old City of Kotor

Clock Tower

Bangunan bangunan lama

Salah satu bangunan penting. Gereja lama.

Gereja lain

Ada banyak museum

Dan bangunan yang lain

Fokus aku sebenarnya nak cari penginapan yang aku dah tempah tu. Dalam suasana malap di Old City of Kotor tu memang payah nak cari.

Cari laluan

Jumpa pulak orang ramai ramai nak menonton show

Sampai membawa aku keluar dari kawasan Old City ni. Dah terkeluar dari entrance

Berhenti jap carik napas sambil cuba cuba menikmati pemandangan.

Berhenti study map jap. Maybe aku dah terlepas lorongnya or termiss dan tak nampak signange. Memang penginapan aku dalam area Old City tu sendiri so aku kena patah balik dan start semula mencari.

Tup tup................

Hah ! Ni dia ha............ aiyo... lorong sempit gila.

Palazzo Drusko. Ini lah penginapan aku malam ni. Kira ni hotel paling mahal aku book sepanjang trip ni. 50 euro gak lah. Nasib lah sebab tak de choice dah.

Rasa macam membazir gak bayar penginapan mahal mahal walhal aku nak tidur kejap je.

Single bed

Ruang just enough for one pax. Nak solat pun muat muat je

Ada TV, aircond etc

Bathroom.

Paip dia siap kaler gold.. cas cas mewah

Kasi hilang dahaga...

View dari bilik aku. Buka tingkap bunyi bising sikit lah muzik kat bawah tapi tutup tingkap OK

Settle mandi dan bersihkan diri.. aku turun semula. Kali ni misi nak cari makanan ! Aku lapar.......

Jalan jalan pusing keliling kawasan Old City ni semula...

Nikmat tahap dewa dewi....

Nasi tu di gaul dengan tomato.. Tak pedas tapi harga 7 euro ! Hmmm nasib la nasi tu banyak so aku boleh makan 2 kali.

Dah makan, kenyang. Lupakan segala keindahan duniawi.

Aku tak sabar sabar nak tidur dan bermimpi masuk ke alam Medieval, pakai jubah dengan pedang nak bertarung merebut Princess of Kotor !

Ah !! Dasar pengotor... Tak jadi lah. Baik aku tidur.

Kroh ! Kroh ! Kroh !

bersambung..............
