Doha Skyline...
Doha was founded in the 1820s as an offshoot of Al Bidda. It was officially declared as the country's capital in 1971, when Qatar gained independence from being a British Protectorate. As the commercial capital of Qatar and one of the emergent financial centres in the Middle East, Doha is considered a world city by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network. Doha accommodates Education City, an area devoted to research and education.
The city was host to the first ministerial-level meeting of the Doha Development Round of World Trade Organization negotiations. It was also selected as host city of a number of sporting events, including the 2006 Asian Games, the 2011 Pan Arab Games and most of the games at the 2011 AFC Asian Cup. In December 2011, the World Petroleum Council held the 20th World Petroleum Conference in Doha.[4] Additionally, the city hosted the 2012 UNFCCC Climate Negotiations and is set to host a large number of the venues for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
In May 2015, Doha was officially recognized as one of the New7Wonders Cities together with Vigan, La Paz, Durban, Havana, Beirut and Kuala Lumpur.

Eventhough, aku plan transit je kat Doha ni, tapi ada few places yang aku terasa nak jejak. Kunjungan sebelum ni pun kejap kejap je, so kali ni konon nak explore lebih sikit, tapi masa memang tak ada plus time ni tengah holiday lagi. Cuti umum.
Info.
Clock Tower - located next to the Grand Mosque, this old clock tower features Arabic numerals on its face. The tower is also located on a hill, and as such offers some wonderful views of the Corniche.

Qatar Islamic Center
Souq Wakif
Dan area Doha Port and harbour.....
Di kawasan ni jugak lah terletaknya The Pearl Monument yang menjadi salah satu landmark bandaraya Doha ni.
Pearls used to be Qatar's main industry though it is now natural gas and oil dan sebab tu lah, sebuah monument pearl and oyster di bina di sini.
Cuma cuaca panas sikit lah kat sini.........
Dhow harbour

Doha Bay
Info.
The Museum of Islamic Art (Arabic: متحف الفن الإسلامي, matḥaf al-fann al-islāmī) is a museum located on one end of the seven kilometers long Corniche in the Qatari capital, Doha. As with the architect I. M. Pei's requirement, the museum is built on an island off an artificial projecting peninsula near the traditional dhow (wooden Qatari boat) harbor. A purpose-built park surrounds the edifice on the Eastern and Southern facades while 2 bridges connect the Southern front facade of the property with the main peninsula that holds the park. The Western and Northern facades are marked by the harbor showcasing the Qatari seafaring past.

It is located close to Doha Corniche and is a prominent landmark in the city.
The center's most distinguished feature is its mosque which has a unique minaret design. Prior to 2009, Fanar's mosque was the largest in the country. It has since been over taken in this category by Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque, however, it remains the tallest mosque in Qatar.
The mosque was named after the famous Qatari Islamic Scholar and The founder of the Qatari Judicial System Sheikh Abdulla bin Zaid Al-Mahmoud. The name was given by the Emir of Qatar to commomorate the memory of his achievements during his tenure as the supreme judge of Qatar.
Lobby
Kubah.
Dewan solat
Malangnya dari dalam tak nampak bentuk spiralnya...
Sayangnya interior tak seindah exteriornya. Tapi tak pe lah, asal fungsinya di manfaatkan bersama....
Singgah solat jap pastu aku beredar....

Selesai urusan, aku meninggalkan tempat ni....
Tak jauh dari Islamic Center tersebut adalah Souq Waqif.
Another place that is very worth going is Souq Waqif, the renovated Arabic market quarter. You can easily wander around the maze-like corridors for hours. The Souq is organized more or less by what is sold. There is a section of spice shops, another of textiles, and even a quarter where they sell falcons. Also look for places to buy souvenirs, sit down to smoke a Sheesha, or enjoy food at one of the restaurants bordering it. However, it can come across as rather staged; the 'perfectness' of the place results in the atmosphere being somewhat fake.

Tapi hari cuti. Lengang semacam je kawasan ni
Tapi tak ralat sangat sebab aku pernah datang sini dulu..
Lintas Souq Waqif Park.
Usha kawasan sebelum bas datang.
Tunggu bas di sini...
Lama gak nak tunggu bas datang. Risau gak takut tak de bas, mati aku terlepas flight karang.
Nasib baik tak lama lepas tu ada jugak bas berhenti. Sama macam tadi, aku sorang je passenger drebar bas ni. Dia ajak ajak borak gak lah tanya aku dari mana etc. Aku layankan jer.

Check flight time ke Athens
Hish... Bingung kejap. Aku tak boleh kalau tak pakai jam. Rasa pelik je.
So cari time aku gi usha usha jam kat airport Duty Free... Pegi kaunter brand jam yang rosak tu tapi dia tak leh nak baiki walhal ada lifetime warranty. Sudahnya aku terpaksa beli jam baru.
Kotak dia besar lak tu, nak buang macam sayang. Makan space dalam beg.
Konon nak abiskan duit Qatar sebab langsung tak guna. Beli tiket tadi jer..
Sempat smoking sebatang dua
Ready untuk meninggalkan bumi Doha time dah nak dekat senja
Doha dari udara
Goodbye Doha...
Tup tup... 5 jam penerbangan, akhirnya pesawat bersedia untuk mendarat di Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" selepas waktu tengah malam.
Welcome to Greece !
