NZ 2017 01 : Lake Tekapo | Lake Pukaki

Aku memang tak berapa nak suka pegi ke tempat yang sama berkali kali. Tapi ada tempat tempat yang pernah aku pegi dan melekat di hati.

Dan tempat tempat ini memang aku tak tolak untuk berkunjung lagi.

Seminggu ni layan gambar gambar sekitar New Zealand. Tak de apa nak tulis dah.

New Zealand di tahun dan musim berbeza, dari kunjungan pertama aku masa 2016 dulu dan tahun 2017 keindahannya sekali lagi di nikmati.........................

LAKE TEKAPO

Picturesque by day and dazzling by night, Lake Tekapo is part of a UNESCO Dark Sky Reserve, making it the perfect spot for stargazing.

Lake Tekapo is about three hours drive south-west of Christchurch in the Mackenzie Basin. The township faces north across the remarkable turquoise coloured lake to the mountainous drama of the Southern Alps. Lake Tekapo gets its intense milky-turquoise colour from the fine rock-flour (ground by glaciers) which is suspended in the water.

On the shores on the lake you'll see the beautiful Church of the Good Shepherd, where the altar window frames a perfect view of the Southern Alps beyond the lake. The church was built in 1935 for the pioneer families of the Mackenzie district, and it's a popular photo spot for visitors.

Tahun 2016 dulu sempat berkunjung ke Lake Tekapo ni tapi masa tu musim sejuk.

2016 - Lake Tekapo

Dan tahun 2017 time musim spring. Jadi bunga bunga lupins sedang mekar bermaharajalela di sekitar Lake Tekapo ni.

CHURCH OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD

2016 -  Church of the Good Shepherd

Masa 2016 tak sempat nak usha milky way sebab cuaca sejuk sangat. Ada rezeki untuk melihat keindahan alam di tahun 2017.

Enjoy !

LAKE PUKAKI

Lake Pukaki is the largest lake in the area, and it proudly shows off New Zealand’s tallest peak, Aoraki/ Mount Cook, from the many look out points around its shores.

The water colour of the lake is a bright turquoise due to glacial flour, made from extremely fine rock particles that have come from the surrounding glaciers. The lake is fed at its northern end by the braided Tasman River, which has its source in the Hooker and Tasman Glaciers.

When the sun hits the surface of the lake, it reflects off the particles transforming it to a brilliant blue. The combination of the magnificent lake, surrounding peaks and wide open skies are a dream for photographers and pose the difficult challenge of capturing the grandeur of the ever-changing landscape.

Lake Pukaki’s spectacular vista can be enjoyed by car with stop-offs for photographs at the various look out points. There are spectacular views of the lake on the drive on State Highway 80 to Aoraki/Mount Cook Village, and also along on the road between Twizel and Lake Tekapo Village. Alternatively, you can enjoy the lake on foot or by bike on one of the many tracks on its perimeter – including the stunning Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail, or in the air via a scenic flight.

Terletak bersebelahan dengan Lake Tekapo, lihat perbezaan masa 2016.....

Ternyata airnya lebih biru dan padang kawasannya agak tandus. Tapi tahun 2017 hijaunya lain macam tapi airnya kurang mengancam. Biri biri pun kurang kelihatan.

Tapi lawanya tetap ada !

bersambung...............
