GBS Road Trip New Zealand - 25 | Day 10 : Auckland - Part 2

Mt Eden

Terpongeh jugak la nak naik sampai ke atas

Puncak Mt Eden dan lookout point

Mount Eden is a suburb in Auckland, New Zealand whose name honours George Eden, 1st Earl of Auckland. It is 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south of the Central Business District (CBD). Mt Eden Road winds its way around the side of Mount Eden Domain and continues to weave back and forth as it descends into the valley; it runs south from Eden Terrace to Three Kings. Mt Eden village centre is located roughly between Valley Road and Grange Road. The domain is accessible on foot from many of the surrounding streets, and by vehicle from Mt Eden Road. The central focus of the suburb is Maungawhau / Mount Eden, a dormant volcano whose summit is the highest natural point on the Auckland isthmus.

It’s a must to check out the fantastic 360-degree views from Mount Eden, Auckland’s highest natural point.

Masa kat atas ni kami terserempak dengan geng geng Melayu. Tengah ambik gambor sakan. Tapi tak tegur pun sebab jauh.

Just lepak lepak pusing kawasan Mt Eden ni sambil menikmati panorama sekitar bandaraya Auckland.

Puncak tertinggi Mt Eden

Jalan jalan jumpa kedai menarik. Singgah? Aci? No lah.. tak de masa !

Brian McKnight bakal datang ke Auckland buat persembahan.

Since dah datang,. apa kata hiburkan peminat peminat di blog ni dulu...

Dipersilakan....................... ( nyanyi dulu. Nanti aku upah kemudian)

It's undeniable... that we should be together...
It's unbelievable how I used to say that I'd fall never
The basis is need to know, if you don't know just how I feel,
Then let me show you now that I'm for real...
If all things in time, time will reveal...
Yeah...

One... you're like a dream come true...
Two... just wanna be with you...
Three... girl, it's plain to see that you're the only one for me...
And four... repeat steps one through three...
Five... make you fall in love with me...
If ever I believe my work is done
Then I'll start back at one
(yeah)

So incredible the way things work themselves out...
And all emotional, once you know what it's all about, babe...
And undesirable for us to be apart...
Never would've made it very far...
'Cause you know you've got the keys to my heart
'Cause...

One... you're like a dream come true
Two... just wanna be with you
Three... girl, it's plain to see that you're the only one for me
And four... repeat steps one through three
Five... make you fall in love with me
If ever I believe my work is done
Then I'll start back at one.

Say farewell to the dark of night
I see the coming of the sun...
I feel like a little child
Whose life has just begun.
You came and breathed new life
Into this lonely heart of mine.
You threw out the life line
Just in the nick of time.

One... you're like a dream come true
Two... just wanna be with you
Three... girl, it's plain to see that you're the only one for me
And four... repeat steps one through three
Five... make you fall in love with me
If ever I believe my work is done
Then I'll start back at one.

Lepas tu kami bergerak ke CBD.  Lalu seround pusing pusing Farnell Village.

Juga berdekatan dengan area of Newmarket, a suburb boasting a reputation as the fashion and trend capital of New Zealand.

Lalu je lah. Tak berhenti mana mana pun. Nampak macam tempat mewah jer.

Seterusnya kami masuk ke area CBD semula.

Sky Tower

Eh... kenapa bercumbu di khalayak ramai ni?

Sebenarnya memula nak pegi University of Auckland, tapi Bettina tu dengki kuasa dua. Ntah mana mana jalan dia bawa. Sudahnya kami berpusing pusing tengah CBD jer.

Layan gambar bangunan sekitar Auckland.

The CBD of Auckland has been the leading centre of New Zealand's business and economic development for nearly two centuries. The area of today's CBD was the site of the original European settlement of Auckland, oriented along the coastline and then Queen Street, in a southward direction. From those origins, it has grown progressively, and become much more densely built-up, now being an area of high-rise buildings mainly used for commercial and retail uses. It has the highest concentration of arts, culture and higher education institutions and venues in the country.

The Auckland CBD (meaning the Central Business District, sometimes referred to as Central City or Downtown) is the geographical and economic heart of the Auckland metropolitan area. The area is made up of the city's largest concentration of skyscrapers and businesses, which form an iconic skyline.

The CBD is one of the most densely developed places in New Zealand, with many commercial and some residential developments packed into a space of only 433 hectares (1,070 acres). Bounded by several major motorways and by the harbour coastline in the north, it is surrounded further out by mostly suburban areas

Dia tunjuk. Nasib tak jauh mana

Ada banyak kedai kedai. Tempat makan terletak di belah basement. Kena turun tangga.

Kat bawah tu ada banyak kedai kedai makan. Tapi ada 2 je yang Halal. Satu Turkish dan satu lagi Indian.

Kami usha usha dan buat pilihan makanan. Makan kat kedai Turki tu. Mamat tu pandai cakap Melayu.

Kedai Turki

Kedai Indian

Makanan tak de la sedap mana. Tapi banyak portion.

Abis makan kami jalan jalan area Queens Street semula.

Pusing ambik ambik gambar jer.

Jumpa few kedai souvenirs tapi semuanya macam mahal mahal jer. Lagipun kami dah shopping banyak kat kedai makcik 2 dollar kat Devonport pagi tadi.

Then kami balik ke parking untuk ambik kereta. Parking tak sampai sejam tapi bayarannya lumayan !!

NZD 15 ..................... ! Memang mahal lah parking kat tengah tengah bandar ni.

Kat tempat parking tu ada orang main benda alah ni.

Menarik gak. Macam nak try tapi dah bayar parking.

Melintasi Sky Tower ni dulu.

Tapi tak sempat nak berhenti usha.

Tengok dari jauh je lah.

The Sky Tower is an observation and telecommunications tower located at the corner of Victoria and Federal Streets in the Auckland CBD, Auckland, New Zealand. It is 328 metres (1,076 ft) tall, as measured from ground level to the top of the mast, making it the tallest man-made structure in the Southern Hemisphere and the 25th tallest tower in the world. It has become an iconic landmark in Auckland's skyline due to its height and unique design.

The tower is part of the SKYCITY Auckland casino complex, originally built in 1994–1997 for Harrah's Entertainment.[3] Several upper levels are accessible to the public, attracting an average of 1,150 visitors per day (over 415,000 per year).

Bayaran masuk sebanyak NZD 29 for adult.
