GBS Road Trip New Zealand - 07 | Day 04 : Aoraki/Mount Cook Village

Bangkit hari ke 4 di NZ.

Masih lagi di Aoraki/Mount Cook.

Semalam masing masing tidur nyenyak dek kerana kepenatan trekking di Lembah Pelacuran. Aku lagi lah.

Pagi pagi bangun tengok view kat luar nampak puncak Mt Cook !

Wah ! Berdiri megah diri mu di situ ! Semalam punya lah malu malu.

Hooker Valley tempat kami trekking semalam. Hari ni cuaca memang menawan. Smalam gunung dan lurah tu langsung tak nampak.

Aoraki / Mount Cook, often refereed to as Mount Cook Village, is located within New Zealand's Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park at the end of State Highway 80, only 15 kilometres (9.3 mil) south of the summit of the country's highest mountain, also called Aoraki / Mount Cook.

Being situated inside a National Park, it is not possible to own property in Mount Cook Village, however, because of the year-round operation of the hotel and motels, the village has a small permanent population of around 250.

All buildings and facilities operate on concessions and leases from the government. The village has no grocery stores apart from a small in-hotel convenience store. The nearest supermarket is 65 kilometres (40 mi) away in Twizel, the closest town. There is a self-service petrol pump behind the hotel complex, however the fuel price reflects the remote location.

Mount Cook Village operates a small school with a roll as low as a dozen children, the only school in New Zealand inside a national park

Layan kawasan sekitar Mount Cook Village.

Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge. Penginapan kami selama 1 malam.

Bilik dia agak cozy jugak.

Selepas berkemas pagi tu kami bersiap sedia untuk check out.

Destinasi selepas ni agak jauh jadi kami kena bergerak awal.

Jadi, jangan buang masa.

Ayuh segera !

Jalan raya yang menghubungkan

Sebenarnya kami berpatah balik ikut laluan jalan arah yang kami datang semalam.

Bye bye Aoraki/Mt Cook.

I won't
See your smile
And I won't hear you laugh anymore
Every night
I won't see you walk through that door

'Cause time wasn't on your side
It isn't right
I can't say I love you
It's too late to tell you
But I really need you to know

No, I'll never forget you
I'll never let you out of my heart
You will always be here with me
I'll hold on to the memories baby

Baby can you hear me
Wherever you may be tonight
Are you near me
I need you to be by my side

'Cause I never said goodbye
It isn't right
I should have said I love you
Why didn't I just tell you
God knows I need you to know

No, I'll never forget you
I'll never let you out of my heart
You will always be here with me
I'll hold on to the memories baby

Somewhere
I know you'll be with me
Someday
In another time
But right now you're gone
You've just vanished away
But I'll never leave yo behind

No, I'll never forget you
I'll never let you out of my heart
You will always be here with me
I'll hold on to the memories baby

Cari cari kedai

Tapi tak jumpa

Berlegar legar berkeliaran

Hooker lagi? Ah.. trauma dah dengan perkataan tu !

Masa kat Twizel ni, aku dok baca baca itinerary sambil uruskan Barbara yang sungguh tak user friendly. Key dia pulak tu slow gila kalau nak delete tulisan tu macam makan berzaman.

Stress aku di buatnya dengan Barbara ni !

Pastu dah program destinasi seterusnya, tiba tiba IH bersuara.

"Eh... kita macam salah tempat je ni !"
"Apa?"

Tiba tiba aku naik hantu lak.

"Barbara................. You are grounded!!!"

* panaskan seterika nak tekap kat badan Barbara sebagai tanda awal penderaan

bersambung........................
